01. I love Harry Potter and It`s the best for me but i`m rating it 4stars. I bought many times here and never have received such ill-treatment before.I bought this particular book "Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets (US) paperback) from amazon and when it arrived the front page and some was torn. I asked for a new one on the same date of delivery and the negotiation was so smooth but when the second one arrive I noticed that it was the same book (or same damage) I returned.We tried to be calm and simply ask to return it again for there seemed to be a mistake but some arrogant staff told my husband that it is not possible to return an item twice, talked to him for sometime and he wasn`t polite at all! We are customers and I think some manners while conversing with us is just fair to expect! When my husband had enough he asked for a higher ranking staff to deal with cause the talk was going nowhere and he just refused! I know this is not the proper place to argue but if my husband, who just refuse to deal with complicated things,can let this matter pass I can`t. I feel harassed and abused and if these things go unnoticed and unsolved I may not have much trust with this company! 02. ナルニア国物語など２作目は大概駄作になる事が多い。 しかしこの第２作は前作を超えている。 この時点では作者には大変期待をしていたのだが、第５作で予想が見事に裏切られた。 03. 内容にはあえて触れませんが、、、 印字も紙質も良く、読みやすいです！ ハードカバーの重さが気にならない向きに、 おすすめです！ ついでに、色々な単語集の「日本一やさしくハリポタが読める」などなどは、 このUK版のページと一致しています。 04. ＪＫローリングが６巻発売前に「重要な巻となる」といった作品です。 １巻では魔法学校やハリーの身の回りのことなど、風景的な描写が多かったのに対し、２巻ではキャラクター達の動きが見られます。最初から、物語が動いているので１巻より読みやすいかもしれません。 05. 1作目から気になっていましたが、翻訳の日本語があまりにもよくないです。 日本語にもテンポやリズムがあって、翻訳の専門家は大抵その辺を意識しながら 訳しているのに、この作品にはそれが感じられない。読みにくいのです。 途中なんどもつっかえ、なんども寝てしまいました。 ストーリーも、ちょっと質の低いサスペンスのようで、これをファンタジー文学として 見るのは気が引けます。もっと面白いファンタジーがいっぱいあるんですけどね…。 前半のドタバタ劇はまあまあ楽しめました。 ちなみに、ドビーは原書で「ハウスエルフ」です。ちょっと印象が変わりますね。
